Apprentice Training
User Choice - Employers and apprentices have a choice where
they would like their apprentice's training to take place.
At Shermans we work closely with the salon and apprentice
in developing an educational programme that suits the needs
of the individual.
At Shermans apprentices will enjoy up to date resources
including the internationally recognised Pivot Point Programmes.
Students have the advantage of training with the Pivot Point
text books and hair materials.
The training at Shermans provides students with a thorough
education in all facets of hairdressing, giving the student a firm
foundation of skills to build their future career.
The course is competency based and students are assessed
on a daily basis. Progress reports are provided to the employer.
All apprentices are required to pass theory and practical subjects
to the National Hairdressing Competency Standards level.

Situated in the centre of the city, the Academy accesses a regular and varied model clientele.
