Shermans is conveniently located in the city and is within easy access to all public transport.
(Student transport concession passes available).
Job Placement
Shermans are highly recognised in the hairdressing industry in Adelaide and Nationally and
they can assist placing student into the workplace nationally.
Conditions of Enrolment
The Academy reserves the right to vary its published schedule of fees and course commencement dates
at anytime.
Fees for sitting the National Competency Standards Assessment are the students responsibility. The student agrees
to abide by all the rules and regulations set by the Academy.
Students must strictly adhere to a Dress Code of black and / or white and dress must be neat at all
Assessments
The course is competency based and students are assessed on a daily basis. All modules and practical work are
recorded daily by the lecturers and students are required to complete given assignments. Individual tuition is available
to students if required. Students are required to pass all subjects in both theory and practical at the required level
set out by the National Hairdressing Standards.
Enrolment Requirements
Students should have successfully completed year 10 (or equivalent). An interview is required with the Administrator
of the Academy, Jenny Sherman.
